Synopsis:
Captain Everton and his navigator Kit board a seemingly abandoned Russian ship, only to discover that something terrible and strange has taken place. Strange indeed - the high-tech ship received an electric jolt from the space ship MIR, and it seems that it was something more than just a blast of lightning. Something alien has invaded the ship, and now Kit and the Captain are forced to stay aboard the Russian ship while a storm rages on the sea.

Your Opinions and Comments
The video transfer is ok. There are no compression marks and the dark scenes are rendered well. The visual effects, however, are ludicrous.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is nice. Most of the movie takes place on a Russian ship and the inner sounds are very nice. The dialog is very clear (soundwise, that is).
The menus are slightly animated and simple.
The extras include some behind the scenes look and a commentary track I did not bother to check.
All in all, a really dull movie. Give it a miss.
