Introducing Relativity...
I was quite looking forward to this graphic guide after my introduction to Marxism in my first book review. I doubt that there are many who don't know that Einstein's Theory of Relativity is e=mc2 (that's squared by the way, just don't know how to do it on my keyboard), but I wanted to understand some of the concepts behind this theory.
Sadly, I was unable to get anywhere. This may have had something to do my complete failure to get any interest going for Physics at school. I managed to understand the Lorentz Transformations but quickly got lost after that. So I gave up at that point. I had already lent this book to a colleague of mine at work who has a degree in astrophysics, so I sought his opinion. I wasn't that hopeful to be honest, but he said that he thought that this books was very good and explained a lot of complicated concepts and theories in a quite simplistic way. Not simplistic enough that it stopped my brain from hurting, but hey…
So there you have it. If you are interested and want to put a bit of work in, this is probably for you. A useful cheap guide that explains quite a bit about some rather complicated science.
