A pretty great start

The Southern Strangler is murdering his way through the South East of America with Nashville Homicide Lieutenant Taylor Jackson and FBI Profiler John Baldwin hot on his trail in this debut novel from J.T. Ellison.

And what a great debut from Ellison - it's so accomplished that you'll keep going back to check that it really is her first novel.

A gripping read, full of new and interesting characters. In a crowded marketplace of local cops working with big shot FBI profilers, Ellison's leads are a welcome addition who deserve to be with us for a long time.

This is well worth a read for all mystery/thriller fans. If you like James Patterson or Andrew Gross then you'll like this. On the other hand, if you're fed up of Patterson and his constant production line of books, then this will provide you with something new and interesting to read.

Looking forward to the next one already.
