Synopsis:
Richard Donner directs this US action thriller starring Mel Gibson, Julia Roberts and Patrick Stewart. New York City taxi driver Jerry Fletcher (Gibson) is traumatised by a past he cannot remember, and spends all his spare time assembling information on conspiracies. He takes his so-called evidence to government attorney Alice Sutton (Roberts), who is investigating a conspiracy theory of her own surrounding the murder of her father. When Jerry is abducted by psychiatrist Dr Jonas (Stewart), he escapes, but soon both he and Alice are on the run for their lives, their fates somehow inextricably connected...
