Synopsis:
A series of grizzly murders are occuring around the world. Dubbed the "Mincemeat Murders" by the press, the authorities have no idea who or what is responsible.

Meanwhile! Average Japanese high school student, Izumi Shinichi discovers an alien parasite living in his right hand. Shinichi calls the parasite Migi, which now has an eye and a mouth and is a sentient being in his own right. Accepting the fact that they now have a symbiotic relationship and that if one of them dies the other will also die, they join forces against the other parasites invading the Earth.
