Review of Sally Lindsay`s Party Pub Quiz DVD Game

Introduction

Who? Whilst I`m great (modest, too) at pub quizzes (as I organise them as well as taking part), I didn`t know who Sally was. So like every lazy person does today I asked Wikipedia which tells us:-

"Sally Lindsay is a British actress best known for playing the role of Shelly Unwin in the long-running ITV1 Soap opera Coronation Street."

That will account for why I`ve never heard of her, as I never watch Coronation Street and never watch anything other than football on ITV1 (do they still make other programmes? Remember when they made good comedies?)

So this is a pub quiz DVD, hosted by Sally, which follows a standard format. 2 teams play several rounds (sport, music, tv, celebrities, etc.) answering 3 questions each, and each question is worth 5 points. Whoever gets the most is the winner.

A 4:3 picture on offer here. You don`t need more for a simple text based quiz (with static pictures), but we do live in a widescreen world nowadays...

A DD2.0 stereo soundtrack, which does its job.

Conclusion

Do you enjoy trivia? Do you enjoy pub quizzes? If so, you`ll like this. Some of the questions are insultingly easy, but there are a few tricky ones in there for hardcore trivia fans. If you`re not much of a trivia nut, this might just be challenging enough for you.

There are also rounds for kids, so you can play kids v adults, adults v adults or kids v kids, a nice touch.

A bit of fun if you like a quiz, and should provide enough entertainment.

Oh and there`s another way for you to spend money. At the end of the quiz you can answer a stupidly easy question, and text your answer (at 1 pound 50 a pop) to win a holiday to Orlando.
