French family drama The Past comes to Blu-ray and DVD this June
Fancy a French family drama this summer rather than the usual blockbuster superhero fodder? Then Artificial Eye have you covered thanks to The Past, directed by Asghar Farhadi and starring Bérénice Bejo.
With a runtime of 130 minutes and a 15 certificate, this will carry a recommended retail price of £15.99 for the standard definition release, and £19.99 for the HD version. Alas no details on extras as yet, maybe we'll get a trailer!
Synopsis and trailer follow...
Following a four-year separation, Ahmad returns to Paris from Tehran, upon his French wife Marie's request, in order to finalise their divorce procedure. During his stay, Ahmad quickly discovers the conflicting nature of Marie's relationship with her daughter, Lucie.
But Ahmad's attempts to build bridges between the two soon begin to encroach on Marie’s new partner, Samir, and as tensions begin to mount it soon becomes clear that the past is only close behind.
