ITV medical drama Breathless: Series 1 comes to DVD this month
We kick off the week with a period medical drama set at the start of the swinging 60s, courtesy of ITV Studios Global Entertainment.
Out today, that being 25th November, on DVD is Breathless: Series 1, starring Jack Davenport, Natasha Little, Joanna Page, Shaun Dingwell, Zoe Boyle, Oliver Chris, Catherine Steadman, Sarah Parish and Iain Glen.
With a runtime of 270 minutes spread across two discs, extras include about 27 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage, whilst the recommended retail price will be £19.99.

The series opens in 1961, a time when Britain was on the brink of the Sixties revolution, abortion is legal and the contraceptive pill is only just becoming available to married women. Set in and around a busy Gynaecology unit, medicine becomes the perfect stage to play out the shifting and complex moral codes of early 1960’s society.
Otto Powell, is a brilliant and charismatic surgeon, who passionately believes he can make a difference to women’s lives. His marriage to the elegant Elizabeth appears to be idyllic, as beautiful people living the consumerist dream, they are the envy of our other couples. But Otto and Elizabeth are hiding a devastating secret, an event in their past which could shatter the careful illusion they have created.
