Double ding dong as Leslie Philips and Terry Thomas star in Spanish Fly on DVD

Network Distributing are releasing a new DVD on 22nd April, described as a vintage sex comedy, yes you read that right. Directed by Bob Kellett and starring Terry Thomas and Leslie Philips, Spanish Fly is from 1975 and set on the Mediterranean island of Minorca.

In a full frame 4:3 aspect ration with a mono soundtrack, no extras listed alas, and this will carry a recommended retail price of £9.99.

Despite the scenery and sunshine, expat Sir Percy de Courcy feels dejected. In a cunning wheeze to make some much needed money he buys 100,000 gallons of local wine, hoping to sell it at vast profit.

Unfortunately even Sir Percy has to admit the wine tastes foul, and when he asks his chauffeur to ‘improve’ the take, a certain local ingredient finds its way into the bottles, turning it into a potent aphrodisiac.
