BBC costume drama The Paradise arrives on DVD this December

Fan of the costume drama? Few do it quite as well as the Beeb, though ITV seems to be doing quite well recently too! If you've missed it on the gogglebox or just fancy owning it on DVD, then BBC Worldwide have announced the release of The Paradise for 3rd December.

With a recommended retail price of £25.52, extras will include a Behind the Doors of the Paradise featurette.

Set amidst the Victorian splendour of Britain’s first departure store, The Paradise is a rags-to-riches story of a young girl who falls in love with the intoxicating charms of the modern world. As Denise finds her feet as a lowly shop girl, she must navigate her way through power struggles, intrigues and affairs. When the shops dashing and reckless owner, John Moray, spots her talents she knows she can use this opportunity to rise to great things.
