Goodness, do we do it? Should we? Could we? Sod it, let's do it!

Good morning Mr Phelps, your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to bring back the classic adventure show from the 60s with an almost new cast in 1988. Yes, that classic series came back during that very year, and survived a whole two seasons before being cancelled.

Revelation Films are releasing Mission: Impossible - The 89 TV Season on 15th October, featuring original episode promo spots and a Christmas holiday greeting from the cast. The recommended retail price for the DVD will be £24.99, and the run time is a whopping 768 minutes across 16 episodes.

The cast includes the returning Peter Graves as Mr Phelps himself, rejoined by Greg Morris, along with new team members Thaao Penghlis and Jane Badler, who you may remember from V.

Synopsis follows...

Veteran agent Jim Phelps is the leader of a crack team of operatives for the Impossible Missions Force. Under a cloak of absolute secrecy the IMF team strikes against cold-blooded assassins, fanatical cults and rogue military leaders in true Mission Impossible style.

The final season sees the IMF team take on a Columbian drug smuggling ring, rush to prevent a nucleur bomb detonating in a corrupt Asian country; halt the spread of a deadly virus across the globe, and intervene to stop the spread of Neo-Nazism threatening the United States of America. Not much has changed 20 years on then!
