MVM
have announced the release of Thai horror movie The House, out on 4th June retailing for £15.99. Directed by Monthon Arayangkoon of The Victim fame, it stars pop superstar Inthira Chaloenpura, who you may recognise from Brokedown Palace.

With no break in current tradition, extras seem thin on the ground for this title, so those wanting more than the movie will have to make do with that thing we calls the internets.

Synopsis follows...

Commissioned to work on a documentary concerning a notorious murder case from six years ago, investigative TV journalist Shalinee (Chaloenpura) uncovers some bizarre connections and similarities between that murder and two others, the first of which occurred over 40 years ago. In all three instances, the murderers were proven to be doctors who had brutally murdered their wife, girlfriend or lover in a fit of jealous, passionate rage. But were the similarities in each case merely examples of tragic coincidence or something more sinister?

Although unable to uncover the vital clues required to solve the puzzle, Shalinee's research reveals, significantly, that all those involved in the murders had, at one time over the years, lived in the same house near to a local medical institute. Despite several warnings from a few fearful and superstitious people living in the neighbourhood, Shalinee decides to play a visit to the building in question to see it for herself. What she finds there is more frightening than she could ever have imagined - a dark and shocking revelation that drags her ever deeper into the mystery of the house.
