Sony offering 3D Blu-rays of Harry Potter films with selected products

Sony Offers Blu-ray 3D™ Discs of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ - Part 1 and 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ - Part 2' on Blu-ray 3D with select Sony products

London, 7th October, 2011 - Sony has announced that beginning October 13th, with the purchase of select Sony 3D products[1], consumers will enjoy the "Harry Potter™ 3D Experience" with a Blu-ray 3D™ of the Warner Bros. blockbusters 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ - Part 1' and 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ - Part 2'. The exclusive bundles also include a 2D Blu-ray of each film and digital movie vouchers to enjoy the 2D versions of 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone™' and 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets™' on compatible devices through Video Unlimited on the Sony Entertainment Network or Playstation Store.

The collective Harry Potter™ films are the highest-grossing franchise of all time, a global record it has held since the success of the sixth film, 2009's 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince™'.

The promotion will start October 13th and run through to December 24 and can be claimed via redemption[2] - customers can simply head in-store and pick up a claim form and then post their completed form to receive their very own copy of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ - Part 1' and 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ - Part 2'.

[1] Selected products include the Sony: BDP-S480, BDP-S580, BDP-S780, BDV-EF200, BDV-L600, BDV-L800, BDV-E280, BDV-E380, BDV-E880 and BDV-E780 - the films will play in 2D if the customer does not have a 3D TV
