EUREKA PRESS RELEASE - BOUNTY FILMS have acquired the theatrical and DVD rights to The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence)

BOUNTY FILMS would like to announce that they have acquired the theatrical and DVD rights for the UK & Eire for Tom Six's much anticipated sequel The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence).

The Human Centipede (First Sequence) which was released theatrically in the UK last August was hailed as one of the most twisted, stomach-churning movies of all time and became one of the most controversial and talked about films of year. It featured a demented surgeon who surgically joins his unsuspecting victims together via their gastric systems The original idea was inspired by a conversation over what punishment would be appropriate for convicted paedophiles.

The story line to the sequel is largely being kept under wraps, but director TOM SIX has revealed that the First Sequence is "My Little Pony" compared to the sequel.

The Full Sequence was shot in London with an almost entirely British cast and will have a huge centipede with 12 people involved. "I think people will be blown away by 'part 2' because it's something they would never expect. I read people speculating on IMDb or internet forums about what's going to happen in 'part 2' and they're all wrong."

Tom has revealed that the tagline for the sequel is "100% medically inaccurate" but will not reveal whether any of the characters from the first film, are coming back.

EUREKA ENTERTAINMENT will be distributing the film in the UK on behalf of BOUNTY FILMS. It is expected that the film will be released theatrically in the summer, followed by a DVD and Blu-ray release before Christmas.

Your Opinions and Comments

For those hoping to catch this at the cinema or later on DVD, I'm afraid if you live in the UK you'll have to import it.
