Don't get Sued, get Soo

Following the news of a potential legal battle over the ownership of the name Sugababes, the current line-up of this hit girl group has disbanded. Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah will continue as the Soogababes and will be joined by new member Soo.

SOOGABABES PROJECTIONS ACROSS THE CITY OF LONDON LAST NIGHT TO LAUNCH NEW BAND LINEUP INCLUDING SOO FROM THE SOOTY SHOW

Little panda Soo,whose previous credits includeappearing alongside Sooty and Sweep in The Sooty Show currently showing on CITV and singing alongside Peter Kay, Postman Pat and Bagpuss in No 1 hit single for Children in Need in 2009, has always dreamt of pop stardom.
In an official statement a very excited Soo said:

"I'm really grateful to Sooty and Sweep for all the work they've given me over the years but it seems Heidi and Amelle have finally recognised my immense talent. Until now my music career was mostly playing the keyboard at Sooty's concerts but the Sugababes hits certainly beat endless encores of "Teddy Bears Picnic!"

"So many people have had a hand in my career and supported me so far. I hope I don't crumble without them! At least I'll be able to keep the peace in the group - it'll be nothing compared to the years of coping with trouble makers Sooty and Sweep!"

Sugababes rose to fame with debut single 'Overload' in 2000. Siobhan Donaghy was the first to leave the group in 2001 and was replaced by former Atomic Kitten singer Heidi Range. Amelle Berrabah joined the group in December 2005 following the departure of Mutya Buena. Keisha Buchanan, the last remaining member of the original lineup was replaced by Eurovision star Jade Ewan in September last year. The group have enjoyed 24 Top 40 singles, six albums and greatest hits Overloaded - The Singles Collection.
