TerraTec have announced the new TerraTec G3, a new video editing solution which allows you to optimally back up your precious analogue memories, easily save them to your hard disc or directly burn them to a DVD. The G3 is a compact solution for transferring, editing, and burning analogue videos on your home computer. The G3 connects camcorders, DVD players, satellite receivers, video recorders or other sources equipped with analogue video outputs to every Mac, PC or notebook.

The connection is extremely simple - either with S-video, composite or directly with Scart. For this purpose the TerraTec G3 has a Scart connection directly on the housing - no adapters or special cables are required. The G3 features a robust design; the housing is made of anodised aluminium, all inputs and connectors are gold plated and, naturally, all cables are included in the package. The Terratec G3 comes complete with the full version of MAGIX Movies on DVD TerraTec Deluxe Edition software. A wide range of video options, effects, faders, text modules and DVD menu templates are provided. With the task wizard, beginners can quickly create their first DVDs and, thanks to a multitude of professional options, experts are provided for as well. Elgato Video Capture is included for recording on a Mac; editing can easily be performed via iMovie.

Many analogue sources can be connected to the TerraTec G3. Whether VHS, Video 8, S-VHS, Hi8, Betamax or others - almost every device with analogue outputs is compatible. Whether your output source is a Scart output, S-Video or composite, the TerraTec G3 is connected to it in no time. Thanks to the comprehensive cable package that includes a Scart cable or adapter; even beginners can get started straight away. The video source and format are detected automatically and digitised in the highest quality.
