UK's Most Wanted Duets
Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams is the duet Brits would most like to see, according to new research.
And fans could get their wish if rumours of a reunion on the Take That tour come true this summer.
Williams famously left the band back in 1996, and the two stars have been feuding ever since. However, following the band's successful reunion in 2007, Barlow and Williams met in Los Angeles to bury the hatchet.
Ever since there has been endless speculation about Williams joining the band, and the remaining four members have hinted they would welcome the comeback.
Second place goes to X Factor winners Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis, who have been compared for their similar background and powerful voices.
In the year since her X Factor win Lewis has enjoyed international success - her debut album 'Spirit' sold over 4 million copies, and her single Bleeding Love became a worldwide hit.
But Burke left Lewis trailing in the chart race, when her first single 'Hallelujah' became the fastest ever selling single via download.
And Burke insists the two singers are different, and has been quoted saying "Leona is a little Mariah. With me, I hope I can show I'm a little Beyonce."
The poll of 3,000 people, was conducted by Somerfield to launch its Better Together campaign to help Macmillan Cancer Support reach everyone affected by cancer.
It revealed Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake as the third most popular partnership.
There are still many die-hard Michael Jackson fans who would relish the opportunity to see the star make a final come-back, and many think he could achieve this by teaming up with Justin Timberlake.
The younger star is often compared to the 'Bad' singer, and his album 'FutureSex/LoveSounds' released six chart topping hits, nearly matching Jackson record of seven hits taken from one album.
A spokesman for Somerfield said: "Our new Better Together campaign will generate awareness of Macmillan's local services across the UK supporting people living with cancer.
"Somerfield is a community-based retailer with thousands of colleagues who have pledged to continue to raise funds for local cancer services and help Macmillan achieve its objective to support everyone affected by cancer by signposting their local services.
"We have already raised over £2 million for the cancer charity over the last twenty months.
"The Better Together duets survey has a serious side. We would all love to see and hear some of these dream duets which demonstrate the power of great partnerships."
Old friends Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are the fourth most popular duet.
Drummer Starr was the only member of The Beatles NOT to fall out with other band members, even retaining good friendships with wives and partners.
And Beatles fans across the UK would love to see the old friends team up for a final performance of 'Hey Jude'.
Robbie Williams and Liam Gallager take sixth plan in the poll.
The embarrassing name calling between the rivals went on for over a decade; with Liam branding Williams a "f***ing drama queen" for checking into rehab, and Williams challenging Gallagher to a boxing match at the Brit Awards.
But fans would love the two to settle their scores on-stage, with a medley of Oasis and Take That tracks.
Sixth place goes to the odd pairing of Chris Moyles and Pink.
The Radio One DJ has always had a soft spot for the American star, and during one visit to the show Pink was even invited round to Chris's house for a shower.
Bono and Chris Martin take seventh place. Neither star appears to have any animosity towards the other but Martin has admitted to dreaming about the U2 front man.
Feuding stars Katie Perry and Lily Allen come eighth as a desired duet - Perry insulted Allen by implying she was fat, and in retaliation the Smile singer said her American rival was only signed because the record label wanted someone "controversial and kooky like Lily Allen"
Charlotte Church and Lily Allen are the ninth most popular duet, whilst Amy Winehouse and Catherine Jenkins complete the top 10.
Ciaran Devane, Chief Executive of Macmillan added, ""With over 10 million customers and 42,000 staff, the Better Together campaign with Somerfield is an invaluable part of our ambition to improve the lives of everyone affected by cancer. By working with local stores, we hope to provide even more people with the essential information and services they need."
