Revelation Anime for 2009

This September, Revelation took a break from their anime releases, choosing to concentrate instead on promoting their existing catalogue. That had the dispiriting side-effect of leaving plenty of anime fans in limbo, as their series of choice entered hiatus. Today, Revelation Films have issued a press release detailing their anime plans for the first quarter of 2009. They're back on track... sort of. We have boxsets, and we have the completion of Season 1 of Tsubasa, but fans of Beck, School Rumble, Hell Girl, Peach Girl, Mushi-shi, and Suzuka will have to wait a little longer...

Press Release follows.

Revelation Films are proud to present their 2009 Q1 anime schedule.

January sees the long awaited release of Fullmetal Alchemist Season One Part One for the first time in the UK. The individual series and the movie have sold over 39,900 units to date and the brand has been nominated in the 'Best Franchise' category at the 2008 Neo Awards which is reserved for the real heavyweights of the anime, manga and gaming world.

Hot on the heels of Fullmetal Alchemist, comes the release of Spiral The Complete Series Box Set in February. This action/mystery is a great series for those new to the growing anime market as well as appealing to the already established fan base.

Our March releases include the final instalment of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle and Tsubasa The Complete Series Box Set. This family friendly action/adventure will delight fans looking forward to completing their sets and those who are new to the series.

Keep an eye out for more information on many great anime titles throughout 2009!
