So is this a follow on from Arnold Swatsiface's film the predator, then predator 2, then predators (3), and now this one (4)?

yes, I think this is Predator 4, I never knew there was a 3, not sure about the AvP films, and if they're relevant,  I only saw the first of those.

It's got the bash crash but does it have the, this is the wrong word but, charm of the original Arnie film?

I thought the last one was excellent, and will definitely give this a go :)

I've not seen that one, I quite enjoyed Predator 2 but Aliens vs Predator was dreadful and put me off the rest.
